Another consideration to think about is what type of applications you are running. RDP only sends the "changes" that appear on screen. So if you are using something like Word no big deal, if you are running a powerpoint in full screen well then big deal.

At my job site we have over 500 users connected to a Terminal Server farm everyday (telecommuters). While the bandwidth that we have at work is great, you average user is still dealing with approx 5MB Down and 512K Up.

I would be carefull about connecting from a business location to a home location, I know that in my job (network security) we block any and all connections from our site out that utilize RDP / VNC.
