a) note that 2 cycle oil often has "Stabil" or similar chemical in it, so you may still be able to use the 2 stroke blend.
b) If it's just a pint or so and there's no dirt in it, mixed in a full tank of gasoline, what could it hurt? We've all had one car or another in our lives that left a smoke trail and ran that way for years. I had a neigbor who owned an old rambler, called the "White Kight" (reflecting the paint color, its antiquity, and a significant portion of its bodywork), who instructed me when I changed my oil to simply pour whatever I took out directly into the White Knight's crankcase. (admittedly, the LongDepartedandUnlamented Simca that I drove took just 2 1/2 quarts of oil, and usually was a half quart down when I changed it). He kept driving it until the axle snapped, then called two junkyards and auctioned it off by the side of the road after each sent a tow truck.
