Comerica Park and Ford Field which is right next door. I take I-94 East into the City, then exit onto Woodward Ave and head towards the Theatre District/Stadium area. If you are coming from Grand Rapids you probably will take I-96 to I-75 to Woodward, and exit only a few blocks from the stadiums. The area around I-94 and Woodward is pretty sketchy (scattered burned out builidngs in blocks of weed filled empty lots) but the area close to the Theatres, Stadiums, and Museums is actually qiute nice.
Numerous surface lots are found within a block or two of the ball parks. Price jumps from $10 across the street to $25 for lots on same side of street as the stadiums. I haven't been there since a Lion's game in Dec 2006 so prices may be higher now. There are also parking garages in the area but they seem to fill up faster than the surface lots. Try to park on the side of the street that will speed your exit, traffic gets crazy when everyone leaves following a game.
