Capital One is constantly sending me offers to borrow up to 5k, 7.5K 10K &15K (with a payment set up for 2-5 years, your choice)for whatever, and the interest rates are comparible to what you'd pay on an older car loan. When I was in the car business people used to pay me with checks written off their credit cards all of the time. There's also home equity loans. I love the 9K and had five of them but the same money would put you in about a 2000 9-3. It would make a lot more sense if you're going to use it as an everyday driver. I'm driving a '98 NG900 now and it's flat out been the cheapest, most reliable Saab I've ever owned. The 9Ks were the most expensive.
