Saab is going bust? Seattle area lost the last dealership
As an owner of 3 Saabs and last one was Viggen, I just received letter from Seattle’s Carter Saab that they stop servicing Saabs (warranty) and selling them. Due to low demand they said. They suggested to go for warranty work to Spokane (4+ hours of drive, are you kidding?) or Tacoma/Fife (1+ hour). I just wonder, if business is so bad for Saabs in greater Seattle area, why one would hope that Spokane or Tacoma areas are better for cars like Saab.
What do you guys think and how do you feel about this change? What you planning todo?
P.S.
For me it is not that important anymore as 4 months ago I had to sell my Viggen (Saab mechanic bought it, so it is in good hands) and have 135 I now. I love it – the same turn that I was doing at 110 mph now I can take at 130mph, and it doesn’t understeer like crazy. But my heart will always will stay with Saab- Viggen had best turbo boost kick, and only now I realized how good was fuel economy compared to 135…
