Adirondack Saab Run 2008
Join us for a fun and scenic drive through the heart of the Adirondacks. The drive will take approximately 5 hours, making stops as necessary. Though the run is scheduled outside of peak folliage season, the views are still beautiful. What better way is there to spend the weekend after Thanksgiving?
This drive will be a bit more conservative than our usual romps through the woods due to the chance of snow. Please make sure you have adaquate tires to handle this possibility. All roads are in good shape and paved.
If you have a winter beater that is not a Saab, feel free to bring that instead.
When is it?
Saturday November 29th, 2008
The run will depart at 11:30AM from the Prospect Mountain Diner on Canada Street (State Route 9) in Lake George and finish up around 5:00PM. There will be a mandatory drivers meeting before we depart.
We will be ending the drive in Saratoga Springs, NY right off exit 15 on I-87. Bring an FRS radio if you can.
What does it cost?
Nothing!!! Zilch!!! Zip!!! Nada!!! That's Right, Free!
(Meals not included)
Where will I eat??
There will be no lunch stop during the drive, so feel free to arrive early and grab something to eat at the diner.
We will be ending the drive in the parking lot of the Golden Corral in Saratoga Springs. Be sure to have enough room on your credit card (about $15) to join us for dinner if you'd like.
Please visit NYSOC.com to sign up.
Thanks.
