I installed MB Quarts in my '95 9000 about 2 years ago. The model that I have fit pretty much exactly like the stock ones. They sound awesome, too.
As for the crossovers, I sat the passenger side one in the space above the passenger airbag (if the bag goes off, the crossover probably will be damaged, but that's the least of my concerns if the bag goes off). The driver side one rests on top of the instrument cluster. It makes the dash a tight fit, but it is very doable.
You will need to extend the stock speaker wiring to reach the crossover locations, which is simple.
