Glass polish... Posted by PGAero [Email] (#1143) [Profile/Gallery] (more from PGAero) on Mon, 24 Nov 2008 21:29:26 In Reply to: Windshield residue, steve, Mon, 24 Nov 2008 21:20:48 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'd get in there with a glass polish. There's any number of products out there. Perhaps, I'd even take goof-off or some other solvent to the area prior to polish to take any adhesive off.
It's possible that it's just the way it is. If it's only visible while there's condensation on the window, it doesn't matter, since you shouldn't be driving a window you can't see through. I'd consider an anti-fog treatment (Rain-X makes one) to eliminate the instance of seeing it.
Short of these things working, you might just have to live with it. I know some rear quarter windows on my parents' 9000 always had Saab Securit logos in them when they fogged up. It's just the way it is.
