The fuel pump gets louder because you are calling for more fuel from the tank when you rev the engine.

Bearing noise can exist in the alternator, although rarely--but I have read posts that it happens).... and/or bearing noise can be in one(or more) of the serpentine belt pulleys. Maybe BOTH!! Hard to tell from here....but you have to isolate it one step at a time.

Whirring/buzzing doesn't sound like a timing chain description to me.... those sounds are more electrically related to me---you'll hear more of a clatter at the valve cover.

Cheapest to A. replace the belt and idler pulley and secondly, B. belt tensioner if the pulley is stiff.

If your lights dim as the revs increase, it could be the voltage regulator (inside the alternator)....and if the bearing is bad on top off all that--replace the entire alternator
