I recently moved to Boston and had to change my car insurance co. due to weird insurance laws here. Moved from a state that didn't require safety inspections. I was hoping to slowly fix the issues with my 93 9000 Aero before getting around to registering here and doing the inspection... I guess that's not the way it works here because they basically want you to be registered right away. Soooo. I live in Boston, have no garage to fix this stuff in, and here are the issues I think they're likely to get me for at the inspection--

SRS light is on
Hazards don't work sometimes (especially lately)
Headlights are intermittently don't work (usually work but not so reliable... I have no idea what is wrong there, but part of the issue is that there is no difference between the high-beams and low-beams, not sure what is going on there)
There is no shock on the right rear (had to do an emergency extraction last week, haven't put in the new one yet)
Front left wheel bearing MAY be failing (not sure)
Exhaust is modified so secondary muffler just has straight pipe

I'm pretty sure most of this stuff is going to come up in the inspection... mostly just wanting to vent here but if you have any perspective to add, I'd like to hear. In our old state, I was prepared to keep driving this wonderful, lovable behemoth into the ground, but at this point I feel driven by MA RMV to drastic measures, including possibly dropping this in favor of a payment on a Corolla. Help!
