I suspect that all the Viggen emblems to be made have already been made. It's not like they've got a factory turning out a few dozen a year. Saab bought some number back when, and they're sitting on a shelf in the warehouse. When Saab HQ was in Orange, Connecticut, I got a chance to wanter into the back room. OK, the hanger-sized room with shelves up about 25 feet. Everything from new crated engines, to brake MC for two-stroke '93's. OK, not many, but there. And if they ran low, don't think they're going to go out and have another dozen made.
Bottom line - All that are to be made have been made, and they'll continue to sit on a shelf, somewhere. Now, if you're worried that your Viggen compatriots will panic and buy them all out first, then by all means, join the frenzy. But short of a panic buy, the availability of those parts will be unchanged. And if GM does go under, somebody will buy those parts at a deep discount, and move them onto their shelves.
