They work... they aren't fancy, but functional. They are not as sturdy as the "business grade" Blackberries like the 8800 and the Bold, but decent as far as cell phones go. Reception on GSM is good (can't speak to CDMA) and battery life is average for a cell phone (good for a smartphone). Remember that the Curve is now two years old, so there's a reason it's 2 for $50 - they are not ultra modern phones.
