A Buckeye here, setting the facts straight about Ohio Posted by Caarma [Email] (#592) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Caarma) on Tue, 2 Jun 2009 15:39:33 In Reply to: NYSOC Big East Coast Drive - June 27 - July 2, Ian Whelan, Tue, 2 Jun 2009 10:37:56 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Yes, there's nothing wrong with Ohio. It's a great state where you can actually drive and enjoy your car without getting stuck in traffic all day unlike many cities in the Northeast. Too bad the cops are so strict. The cities Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati are where the fun's at. Cedar Point in Sandusky is the best amusement park on the planet. St. Clairsville is a small town that I've actually visited to see family friends, but I was a child so I don't know what's around there.
It's funny because I went to undergrad in Rochester, NY with a lot of people from the Northeast. Many of them thought of Ohio as one big farm, but it's actually one of the more densely populated states, more so than New York if you take the heavily concentrated NYC area out of the equation.
