However, I am ALWAYS stunned at how little the vast majority of people know about finances, budgeting, etc. In their case, I would strongly recommend some education and a professional financial advisor as suggested by other posts. I take care of all of our budgeting, finances, bills, stocks, funds, savings, checking, investments, insurance, etc. There are some things that I have to have a broker for, but I control all of the account activity. There are some brokers that I've never even met or talked to...kinda scary, I know, but it's all online and I'm in complete control. I research the death out of most things, so I consider myself well-informed and I only take the plunge if I am completely comfortable with it. Knowledge is power...nothing could be more true. As with anything in life (finances, especially), don't do it unless you are completely and totally comfortable with what you're doing, who you're dealing with, and always have a second, third, fourth, and fifth plan. This is just my own personal experience and I am always in everything for the long haul...one of the luxuries of youth. Stick with it and don't panic, but be sure you know when to change things up a little. Drive safely and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
