Fixing my torque wrench Posted by adl6009 [Email] (#2526) [Profile/Gallery]

I have a sears microtech torque wrench that had the locking ring break. Apparently I can get a new grip (from http://www.searspartsdirect.com) which will repair the damage. According to the diagram it looks like all I have to do is unscrew the the nut at the end and replace the grip. Will I need to recalibrate the wrench or something after reassembly? Is there anything tricky about the job, or will it be a straight forward remove and replace? Thanks.
