I can't help much with the ABS, but it sounds like a loose junction between one of the hard pipes and the pump housing.
What you are seeing with the SRS is the system indicating a fault: when you start the car, the light will blink for five minutes, then leave a light illuminated (there are actually two light bulbs). The system has detected a fault and is advising you that you need to have it fixed. Unfortunately, you can't reset the light or system without one of the SAAB or GM tools, i.e. the Scan Tool or the Tech II. When the system is read, the fault code will probably be a fault in the left-front sensor, but this seems to be the default error code for many problems. If your car is around 1994 vintage, there is a well-known fault where the connectors crimped to the wiring harness develop a higher resistance than the system is expecting, SAAB makes a replacement wiring harness for this, sells in the US for about $150. I've had my fault code reset a couple of time, it comes back some time (weeks or months) later; I'm just going to live with it.
