if it's variety and madness you are after... you should attend a 24 Hours of LeMons event. http://www.24hoursoflemons.com 100 mixed bag vehicles in varied states of readiness usually having nearly 40 or more different brands and/or models (miatas vs Corvair vs Audi Quatro vs E30s vs c900s? Yes!) AND having wild paint schemes and some sort of theme.

Oh, they do have many that get down the road too with speeds of 115 mph at the end of the long straights. not too shabby for a $500 car.

you can do a youtube search on the the event name and see in car camera videos from the participants too.

Almost forgot to mention, the frantic repairs being done in the pits, beyond the usual tires or brakes but going to engines and transmissions too...

All for the price of admission, 2 days of full pit access...

There have been at least one Saab, and usually 2 or more, at each event since inception.
