I thought it was pretty good. I generally like to read his point of view. In this case, I thought GM had messed Saab up too much and to Mr. Dyer's credit, he mentioned what I always thought about the same basic motor for numbers of years. True, the Aero are much quicker than cars with much more power, but it is sometimes difficult to get new comers to drive the car when basing precurory decisions on engine output.
Regardless, GM did save Saab from death, but failed to do much constructive with the brand. In my opinion, niche car makers should not have to rely on a full line of models. IMHO, do a couple of things and do them well and success should follow. Unfortunately, it seems now that every car maker thinks they need a full line and then some to compete. I thought the European makers had it under control, but look at BMW and Audi. Its gettin crazy.
Sorry for the unintended rant, I had a rough day and am waiting for dinner to cook.
