Thanks for all your input. I used Goo Be Gone, which I think is similar to Goof Off. It's a citrus-based cleaner they sell at Lowe's etc. It actually came out pretty easily, I was surprised. It just "melted" the adhesive. Still vacuuming it, I think it'll be back to normal.
