Seriously, I'm crazy over my car. Red 2001 Viggen. 5 door. I love my car. There is nothing out there that will replace it.

I always try and park it in the best of places, to avoid:

a) it getting hit by a cart, flying object, bird, stones, whatever
b) being as far away as possible from other humans who could harm it
c) so that I can be relaxed and not have to be hurt, like I would be if something happened to it.

So today, I park my car near the gym at the university. Free parking on the weekend. I park right near the facility, but to the very end where one of the sides is close to a piece of concrete. Looks like a great spot, for a quiet Saturday I go to the gym, do my thing, come back and I don't see my car. All I see is a huge coach bus in front of my car, and 25-30 people ALL around it. I think they were some team waiting to play. People, bags, all around it. I had to say "Excuse me" to one fellow, to get in. Everyone was looking at me when I opened the hatch, that's how many there were. Geez, talk about bad luck. And, being the person that I am, I tend to think the absolute worst happened, like someone scratched it somewhere and I didn't see, or one of the bags scuffed the paint etc etc etc.

Very hard to own this car...I need some protective shield for it.
