Even with the big greenhouse on my 9K and even my wife's 9-5 wagon, using the "SAE" mirror adjustments makes a huge difference and all but eliminates blind spots. If you don't use it, give it a try.
Put your head against the driver's side window and adjust the driver's mirror so you can just see the edge of the car in the right (inner) edge of the mirror.
Now lean right so your head is over the center console and adjust the passenger side mirror so you just see the side of the car in the inner (left) edge of that mirror.
Done correctly, a car coming up behind you will appear in the side mirror as it leaves the center inside mirror, and usually appear in your peripheral vision as it moves forward out of the side mirrors.
You'll need to do some individual adjusting based on your height, mirror size and shape, etc., but this works really well. In fact, on the track day I just did the instructors told people to use this type of adjustment to help be sure they see other cars on the track.
