Yeah others hype features the iPhone won't do, but so far the basics, phone, email, browser and camera are much, much easier than my HTC 8515 Windows based unit.
For example I simply called AT&T email and went through all the keyboard based prompts on the old 8525, whereas on the iPhone has a VM "app" I guess you'd call it (iSpeak?) that labels each individual voice mail and tells you how long it is, visually, much much better.
The browser lets me work with SaabNet and my credit union, especially my CU banking site and I can now easily transfer funds and check balances. Both things I couldn't do with Windows Mobile.
And the email is equally Apple easy.
I'm even getting to be a pretty good typist, or thumbist, with the touch screen keyboard as this one does qwerty sideways.
My buddy who is a Qualcomm software engineer and checks out phones regularly for a living recommended the iPhone (but only because they don't make a Linux open source phone) and I gotta' agree, so far excellent! Good looking too, smaller than the 8525 and much better battery life so far.
