Not sure if this is the same person or not, my coworker told me that this weekend his 17 yr old cousin was killed b/c the car fell on him. Very sad for both cases. My point to all this is to put up yet another reminder(I know people have done this in the past) that safety is VERY important when doing the work we all do. Doesn't matter what you're doing really, you should do it safely. But with a site full of people who like to DIY, remember to use jack stands. My method is to use jack stands, put logs or something behind the rear wheels(if jacked up in front) and leave the jack in it's jacking point as a backup in case the stands fall over. Anyone else who'd like to chime in with other methods please do so. Of all the information that is out there on how to do things properly, this topic should be constantly in your mind. Keep on Saabing!
