Is the magic web site with everything you need to know. Just brought in an '05 Aero and it was easy. Nutshell:

check admissibility on list from riv.ca
obtain recall clearance letter from U.S. dealer or Saab
get copy of US title to US customs at your port of exit 72 hrs in advance
Visit US customs on way out of US to have title stamped
Visit Canada customs to pay taxes/duties and $200ish import inspection fee
bring car to local inspection station for federal inspection, review of recall clearance, & possible modifications (05 Aero required none)
Get your local safety inspection done
Go license it & have fun
