I know this would be more appropriate on the Detail board but it's kind of a snoozer over there. A while ago I dripped some silicone spray on the black dash top of my 9-5. It left three beautiful white stains that would not come off with anything. So I took a pencil eraser to them and they came off for the most part, but I have a decent size shiny spot on my dash now. I was thinking some REALLY fine-grained sand paper. I need something a TINY BIT abrasive to dull down the surface. Of course I would test on an inconspicuous spot first, but any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!
