Sad news!
My whole family has been a George's customer since the early ninties.
I am only a SAAB customer because of Georges Import's Ltd. I still currently own 4 SAAB's. As long as Brad can get parts and he or his guys will continue to work on them, I will be a SAAB owner.
GM did everthing possible to alienate older, long time, SAAB customers, along with making the brand nearly unsaleable. GM has been a company of buffoonery for at least 30 years. Good change, but too late.
GM informed George's Imports that they would no longer be a SAAB dealer. The "other" dealer (just 7 miles away) is being allowed to remain being a SAAB dealer, even though they had less sales and a terrible CSI.
I think what we will see out of the "new" ownership, is some warmed over GM clones for a year or two, then an "every persons" SAAB and one or two high priced real SAAB's. The price will be prohibitive and allow only the "out of my way, I am an highly self promoting important ass" type of driver that seems to gravitate to German junk and Hummers, and enjoys riding way too close. Everybody loves those types and it goes a long way to help the brand........
Won't own another GM clone car ever again. And unless Spyker does something close to a miracle, I won't even consider a new SAAB.
Georges Imports works on everything.
Good by SAAB, I am sticking with Georges Imports......you know.....that little dealer that bothered to sell your cars decades ago when most Americans wouldn't even look at them.....
