I'm driving my second 9-3 Sport Sedan, having just purchased this one at the end of the year to replace my 2003 that was totaled in mid-December. When I took delivery on this one, from the same dealer I had purchased the 2003 from and at which I had had the 2003 serviced exclusively, we found that the sunroof won't close when tilted unless you hold the child safety lock button while closing the sunroof (pinch point setting needs adjusting). Since I don't use the sunroof in winter here in the northeast, just called last week to set up service appointment for today. This dealer uses Enterprise Rent a Car to provide the car for you to drive on the day of service. Got a voice mail on Saturday from Enterprise advising me to allow "lots of extra time" Monday when picking up their car since they are very busy on Mondays... something on the order of 45 minutes to an hour. I canceled the service appointment as I just don't have an extra hour plus to allow on a workday (had originally asked the dealer if I could schedule this repair on a Saturday and they refused). Once the service manager finally called me back, it really was a case of each of them pointing the finger at the other (SAAB dealer and Enterprise). I do miss the earlier years when they just provided another SAAB as a loaner. I've since rescheduled for Wednesday and guess I'll see how this goes... am trying so hard to stay loyal to this dealer, but am feeling like I'm having to try too hard!

Also noticed that when shifting gears (automatic transmission) that I don't have to press the button on the shifter to move from Park to other gears... in fact, the button won't depress. I trust that like every other car I've owned, I should have to depress the button to shift... owners manual confirms this... anyone know anything different about the 2009 9-3 2.0T AWD?
