it isn't that the 9-7 is a bad vehicle (see my post below) It's just that it's not really appropriate to Saab's core customer base. My dad has a new Suburban and it's very nice but it's not the sort of thing I'd buy (not because I'm a snob--I just don't need or want something like that)nor would it appeal to most people who buy Saabs. Trying to sell it with a Saab badge on the hood would be equally foolish and an indication of how little GM understood about Saab and the people who buy them.
