If they sell them in the same markets as SAAB, it will certainly effect the SAAB brand. They will probably sell cheaper than genuine CPO SAAB cars which is a big part of dealer sales. If they are cranking them out quicker than SAAB makes the new models, that's additional competition. I don't think they can wear the SAAB brand, but it will be the same as the previous-generation cars--only new. My guess is that there was some kind of anti-competition language in the deal though (I hope).
Additionally, the market will have competition for parts sales. A big part of the financial success of a car company.
