I have see a few people hit hard with Shingles and thought that the vaccine would be great preventative maintenance for me.

One day after the injection, my arm was sore. Great! I am getting a good immune response. Not always a given when older.

Day two, I am awash with endorphins and adrenalin. I feel great, I jack up the 9-5 and modify the rear suspension. Body really went into turbo boost. If you have ever been speed up when taking prednisone, that is what happened. Hard to explain why this happened.

Days 3,4 totally worn out from day two.

Next two weeks I feel really run down, joints aching. When you whack your immune system, you can have some negative consequences. It would be good to have some known slack time after a shingles vaccine to recover if needed. Take that into account. I am feeling great now.
