Do you buy through a dealer? Then, yes, they most likely do make something. If you buy via an independent, maybe yes, maybe no.
Some online vendors sell both "genuine Saab" and "Saab Quality Aftermarket". For the former, yes, Saab makes something on the sale, since it comes from the Saab warehouse. For the latter, it's anyone's guess. If it's something like a generic Bosch part, then probably no, Saab doesn't get anything, as the part is sourced direct through Bosch, even if it is a Saab-specific part.
For a "bespoke" (custom) Saab part that only fits Saabs, but the part wasn't made by Saab (think most anything with a "ScanTech" label), there may be a license paid to Saab to replicate the part, but then, there may not be...
If you want to guarantee that you are supporting Saab, then buy whatever you can via your local dealership. Assuming, that is, they know what Saab you're talking about!
And no complaints about high dealer pricing! :-)
