I use very little washer juice

Perhaps one or two quarts in a year, if that. It will take a year or two before I run through what's in the reservoir now. I use washer fluid mostly for two reasons only:
1. melting icing/snow when driving in blinding snow (when dash forward edge heat vent inadequate at keeping snow melted quickly enough; very rare occurance even here in New England)
2. get the car behind me to keep distance.
For bugs and bird droppings, I mostly use garden hose in my drive way. It's been years since any bug splattered on my windshield (on my own cars); I don't drive much . . . 5k miles in a year on my own car(s), and when on vacation racking up a thousand miles in a week in Florida or Hawaii the driving is done on rental cars.
My sparing use of washer fluid may have something to do with my not knowing there is now washer fluid marketed for three-season only; i.e. essentially soap solution as opposed to mild methanol anti-freeze solution. I may have to add methanol or read up on how to flush the washer fluid reservoir before winter. Glad to know it works well for bugs; will give the bottle to family member who drives a lot on highways.
