I got a package deal because I had (2) broken windshields and I wanted another one removed from a 9000 parts car for later re-use, if needed. I got the the two windshileds replaced and the one removed for $350 and I chose the manufacturer of the glass. The glass guys had a vibrating blade tool to cut out the old adhesive. Without that tool it would've taken them much longer to remove the glass. You can do them yourself but there's not much reason to. You wouldn't save much money because they don't charge much....unless you use Safelight or someone like that. Ask around the Saab repair shops and ask a lot of questions when you get your quotes. The rubber moulding fits really well around my new 9000 glass. The one on the other 9000 looks horrible and doesn't lay flat.
