Last reminder that Sunday morning a group of Saab enthusiasts are heading to the summit of Mt. Washington via the auto road. Forecast is for a beautiful but cool day. Look like we have about 10 cars so far but all are welcome to join the convoy.
Group is originating Ct. Route-84 in Tolland Connecticut - exit 68,we are meeting at the Dunkin Donuts at 7:00 and leaving promptly at 7:20.
We are taking Route-84, merging onto the Mass Pike (Route 90) - 90 is a toll road, so please plan accordingly.
We will then exit on to I-495 North and meet up with some others at the rest area between exits 33 and 34 (Northbound) at approximately 8:30am.
We will then head up and get on I-93 into NH. We are meeting the rest of the group at the State Alcohol Store/Rest Stop on I-93 in Hooksett at about 9:15ish-9:30ish.
The ride from Hookset to the mountain should be about a 3-3.5hr ride. Most likely route will include Franconia Notch.
There is a fee around $25 for the Auto Road (includes some swag from the mountain)as well as several tolls so plan accordingly. And dress warm!
