With a paid day off I have been running around taking care of personal business - after performing my civic duty. One of my stops was to obtain a "free" Safety Deposit box at our local bank branch office.
I know there are documents which should NOT be placed in safety deposit boxes due to difficulty in heirs and family members gaining access at times of death or medical emergency, and difficulty in owers gaining access when required for emergencies. But below is what I think should be placed in the box:
Originals:
Social Security cards
Marriage certificate
Baptism certificate
Copies:
Copy of Will
Copy of Trust and Estate planing documents
Copy of Birth Certificate
Lists:
List and description of household property
List of Passport numbers
List of Drivers License numbers
List of Vehicle Title numbers
Any thoughts on additions and/or deletions? Thanks,
