1. That's it's a freakin' Buick! The nameplate screams "old man's car," always has. I know about the Grand National and other things Buick has rolled out over the years, but their primary customers are old people whose idea of a great day is one that ends with an early bird dinner at Olive Garden.
2. Which direction the ride and handling will be biased in. Will it be what's usually called a "sporty" ride, meaning marginally firmer than marshmallows, or will it be one with tight steering and that lets you feel the road so you you can throw down a windy road (or around a track) with the tires baying at the moon?
3. Will the quality be there in (a) seats, (b)fit and finish, (c) longevity of overall vehicle. I think of this compared to my '96 Saab 9K with 176K+ miles that I still like to get into and put the hammer down.
4. Will it be comfortable for a 10-12 hour trip. Maybe several days in a row?
5. And finally, even though it actually looks pretty good, that it's a freakin' Buick!
