The Intrigue has been superb!. The handling is great with fully independent suspension and it's stiffer than the typical GM offering. I love the large rear view mirrors. Love the change oil indicator that is based on miles and engine speed etc.
The 3800 pushrod engine has been bulletproof. No major repairs until the upper and lower intake manifold leaks got out of hand. Considering 170,000 miles the engine was very clean inside with minor build up on the manifold. The only pain is from the job other than the injectors is that many of the plastic lines are getting brittle and have broken as I moved components out of the way to get the manifold off. Still have to figure out how to do those repairs. I'm thinking supper glue gel and shrink tubing and RTV sealant.
The only real unreliable area is the window regulators which have let go on three windows. Dorman replacements were cheap ($50 each) but run slow in cold weather.
