9 months ago I had some Genuine Saab parts put on my 01 Viggen convertible, including the 22mm ARB. A couple of days ago I was looking underneath the car and the powdercoated paint is half gone and the ARB has gone rusty. This car is not a daily driver and has seen only 3,000 miles since this part was put on.
My question is: Is this normal for a powdercoated piece? My understanding is that as a metal coating is should be more durable than this.
I sent an email to GS, but no response yet.
