I have a good feeling about the Chinese deal. For any car manufacturer to survive, being global is the key. Now if Russia could get into the act as well, Saab should be in a very good position, especially since
Saab has a loyal following there. The Chinese are hungry for products like Saab, they want the same ownership experience as we have. They are now a people who "make things" like the Germans, and people who "make things" tend to respect well made products, and they desire to own them.
As manufacturing in the USA has withered, so has our respect for quality products(I'm not going to broach the subject of Big Business) just the observation that a manufacturing based society tends to be in tune with
a quality finished product, and I think that that is what is growing in China, and Saab will benefit and prosper by becoming global.
