Even though there are LOTS of Saabs in S-E Michigan, particularly here around Ann Arbor, the number of NG 9-5s on the road is very low. In fact, I can only think of one, and I saw that car twice in three days time last weekend. Hard to miss a dark blue NG 9-5 with a roof rack.
The roof bars were whistling like mad on Saturday morning when this car passed us on west bound I-96 near Brighton. I saw the same car, minus the sound effects, on Tuesday within 10 miles of the first sighting. Tuesday I saw the fairing, I did not see it on the car Saturday. Maybe the fairing eliminated the whistling noise, maybe it was there all the time and I just didn't notice it. Nothing on the roof rack either time, no special adapters to indicate why the owner has the rack installed.
