I have a couple snap-on pieces. Although they are top quality, using the warranty seems much tougher than with a Sears, Harbor, Husky (HD), Kobalt (Lowes) item. Each of those you just walk in and walk out and they're local. Harbor warranty is just 1 year generally however.
There are no snap-on stores, and being a DIY daytime-desk-job guy, I have no idea who/where the local snap-on guy is. Website is no help, you have to fill in a bunch of contact info and they'll get back to you. I'm sure the rep will be thrilled to accommodate my office park or home when all I want to do is exercise warranty, not buy anything new. So the other option appears to be mailing it in ($ and hassle) to Snap-on? Am I missing something?
