though both are possible at this stage... Saab is trying to enter reconstruction where they are protected from bankruptcy applications. A company can come out of reconstruction - that is the point in fact...
and yes, the Saab name is licensed + that agreement would be nulled in the case of bankrupcy... SAAB aerospace would of course continue to use it...
this cash-flow problem should have been addressed preventatively prior to the first shut down... I wonder if more conservative spending might have been in order until concrete positive sales figures were in place... I think too much optimism was associated with the 9-5. Beautiful car, but our dealer here had probably a dozen + to my knowledge sold none. I don't think they hold enough wide appeal to Saab (and former Saab) owners like a new 9-3 hatchback should...
