He wants the Occupy Wall Street Guys to hold a few vigils, tweet a few times on twitter, and raise $ with a few Tupperware parties, as he feels we are not doing enough.
After watching ALL car companies do what they want despite consumer requests and desires, why should anyone lift a finger unless they pay us?
When did Saab EVER create a thread on this huge BB dedicated to Saab enthusiates to inform us or ask our opinions? They had opportunity but took this entire community for granted. Occasionally someone might respond briefly to a thread, but did they ever support Scott P or this BB in a meaningful fashion?
You guys go on and support "big automotive". I will probably make my next new car purchase a Factory 5 GTM with a turbo'ed VW Diesel or Mitsu Diesel engine. If I could afford a Tesla I would do that too. Those cars show true innovation and pizzaz.
Mike is offended by my sarcastic condescending tone. I am annoyed by his innability to grasp that Saab died decades ago after the purchase by GM. Saabs after the C900 and the c9000 are gutless shadows from a once great company.
I see no reason to save the name of a company that has been walking dead since the eighties.
I don't mean to insult anyone. I know others may feel differently.
Just think about this... When have you last seen Saab create innovative cars like the Sonett, c900T, convertible c900T, etc...? When was the last time Maserati or any other company paid Saab for APC technology that was super innovative?
Just my humble $0.02. YMMV.
Best,
U2bC
