Maybe they are phishing - they want information about you, as you already suspect.

I had a call yesterday about a company in which I had a few start-up shares, which went bust a couple of years ago - the caller claimed to have a buyer for the shares because of the "assets and licences" involved. It was a fish restaurant chain and went down the tubes because of rent increases and so forth, not a lot of assets there I think, and I don't think you need a license to sell fish. Anyway, imagine my surprise when the caller me to send her momey rather than the other way round...

Is it only me, or are others getting bored by the constant requests for reviews and feedback? I bought an Amazon Kindle plus a separate Warranty last year. I got a same-day email request for a review - not of the Kindle, but of the Warranty. Do these companies ever employ people who think first and email later?
