I remember that people were playing around with "super plastic" zinc in the 1970's. That was not a metallic glass. Now there are metallic glass titanium alloys that can be "blow molded". This is made possible by the relatively low melting points of these alloys. The down-side is that these alloys soften at relatively low temperatures and thus cannot be used in many applications.
The limited temperature range of of these alloys creates application limitations similar to that found with high purity copper. Copper is a good example of creep deformation where the metal yields under relatively low stress and at temperatures more characteristic of your oven at home. Interestingly, one can block the creep by alloying with an other metal that has larger atoms that interfere with movement withing grains [crystals]. For high conductivity applications that have high stress and high temperatures, such as locomotive DC traction motors, adding 17-20 ounces of silver per ton works extremely well without significantly reducing conductivity. Related: Copper used for overhead conductors for street cars or electric trains and rapid transit would wear out very fast if pure. The conductors can be alloyed with cadmium that greatly increases the hardness and wear resistance. The alloys may have changed. Resistance becomes a problem, but the "messenger wire (US & Canada) or catenary (UK)" is suspended from an overhead conductor that bypasses the resistance.
