I don't understand why SaabUSA could not have immediately reconfigured themselves into a "Parts Only" operation following the December bankruptcy rather than completely dissolving themselves. They already had the warehouse, the ordering and shipping systems, business connections with all Dealerships, etc. Spare parts for owners in Europe is a much smaller problem than for owners in North America, and I believe the US was Saab's single largest market.

I will be trying ANA as a source for my 2008 9-5 Aero wiper blades since I haven't yet found a US parts supplier with these in stock. A set of new style wiper blades, or a set of old style wiper arms. I haven't yet decided which it will be. Maybe I'll splurge and buy both
