All former Dealers need to post and send this letter Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sat, 28 Apr 2012 10:11:32 In Reply to: Saab's Tim Colbeck writes to dealers !, LG Aero, Sat, 28 Apr 2012 05:52:17 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Posting this letter at the Service Write-Up Counter and Parts Counter will help them build customer loyalty - even if those same customers later choose to buy a different brand from their Dealers.
Sending the letter to all their known Saab customers, either by snail mail or e-mail, will also help generate future Service Dept revenue.
I was in the Service Dept of my local former Dealer last week to resolve a GM warranty issue on our 2006 9-3. I overheard another Service Rep advising a Saab customer on the phone that no parts are available and to try e-Bay for the broken windshield wiper motor/transmission on their car. In other words, "You're screwed, don't bother me again".
