The original Saab dealer in these parts, Drake Street Motors, was in an outlying town west of here, and they opened a second dealership, Saab Country, in (then) semi-rural Scottsville, NY - where I bought my first Saab in 1982.
Dorschel (a mega-multi-dealership) bought out Saab Country many years ago, and still seems to be interested in servicing Saabs. But they have only one Saab master tech, who came over from the Scottsville dealership many years ago.
The Sports Car Centre of Syracuse, NY, another Saab dealership, has closed altogether. I guess Dorschel can afford to wait on the Saab parts situation because the owner has extremely deep pockets, and sells a zillion lines of cars: Toyota, Nissan, Scion, Isuzu, Infiniti, Kia, Lexus, Infiniti, Fisker, Mini (soon)...
