Agree that Reinertsen is a terrific dealer - Mark and Andy in the service department are top notch. My next car may be a Fiat or Alfa simply since I trust them so much. Here is the bulk of the referenced e-mail:
Reinertsen has secured a Fiat/Alfa franchise and will operate under the name, Fiat of Morris County. We will be using the new name, but nothing will change in our dedication to our current customers. We will continue to operate with our long-time technicians, parts people, and salesmen. Old and new customers will continue to be treated the "Reinertsen" way. We truly believe that our customers and our employees are the essence of a dealership. It is always our intention to treat you the same as we expect to be treated. [...]
For those of you who know Kjell, he has decided to retire after many years of being President of Reinertsen Motors. We wish him all the best. Going forward, we will continue to use his father-in-law's name, Reinertsen, as our business name and the Fiat/Alfa designation for the new entity.
SAAB PARTS UPDATE; We really have not had many issues with parts. Our Parts Manager Tammy has done an excellent job, and has always been able to locate the parts that our customers need. Additionally, the situation between Saab Parts North America and Saab Parts Sweden has been resolved, a new Saab parts company has been formed in the US, and Sweden has begun shipping parts again. This means that the inventory here will be replenished and parts that were not being shipped are now be on the way. Saab Parts Sweden is owned by the Swedish government and is in the business to supply parts for the tens of thousands of Saabs around the world. Don't worry--We will be able to get parts for your Saab!
