The problem with your question and what you want to hear is that, can I trust all parts coming from the same manufacturer or vendor but you can't.
You as a customer need to know what the right part should look like and what a good quality part should cost.
If you are constantly looking for the cheapest part, that's what you get and what they try to serve you.
Sometimes Scantech was the real deal in a new box and sometimes it was not worth the cheap price they charged.
Proparts air filters seems really good and some are made in Finland if that means anything. I hope it does.
We'll see what Proparts IDM's will be like when enough people have bought them. I suspect it is the same after market ones from China as all other companies are selling to various prices so I will stay away until I hear otherwise.
